BECOMING CULTURALLY INTELLIGENT (BCI)

SIGNATURE FACILITATION

Research proves that Cultural Intelligence (CI) enhances people's communication and performance when they work with individuals across multicultural dimensions. Our data-informed BCI facilitations help participants develop CI through three interconnected capabilities, each driven by essential human-centered skills.

BCI PROGRAM SKILLS

OPENNESS

Cultivate curiosity | Participants learn to approach difference with an open mind—laying the groundwork for authentic engagement and more effective collaboration across cultural lines.

AWARENESS

Build empathy | Through real-world workplace scenarios, participants strengthen their ability to actively listen, navigate tension, and communicate with clarity and respect.

RESPONSIVENESS

Lead with compassion | Participants are empowered to turn insight into action—making culturally intelligent choices that drive meaningful, lasting change across the organization.

All Cultural Values UPDATED.png

CULTURAL VALUE EXPRESSIONS

The Ten Cultural Value Expressions help us identify how we show up or prefer to be in different circumstances—from our communication styles to observances of time.

Through understanding our own values, we see that there is no “right” or “wrong” way of approaching situations; cultural, personal, and situational influences can impact how we view the world.  By understanding how others express their values, we can become more aware of interpersonal conflicts and compassionate ways of communicating.

Through data-informed, interactive discussion and engagement, participants will work together to understand how their personal and cultural values have guided their leadership styles. Together, the leadership team will agree upon how they might strategically and effectively lead in moving forward.

  • All participants take the Cultural Values Inventory and receive personal and team reports

  • Ideal session length for team building is 3 hours
